IE is Inlet Error. Turn off the water valves behind the washer and remove the hoses from the machine end. Look inside the spot the hoses were attached to, and use a plier to pull out the screen and clean it out. (probably only need to do the cold side) Re-instert screen(s), re-attach hoses, and turn valves back on. (Also, make sure hoses are not kinked behind machine.) Times displayed are estimates, and vary due to water fill rates, and load type and size. In your case, the water fill rate is the problem.

The quick wash takes over an hour any suggestions how to make it quicker?

The manual says wash number 5 takes 60 minutes the only shorter cycles are numbers 9 & 10 which take 55 minutes but they are cooler washes for wool and silk with a spin speed of 800rpm the number 5 has a spin speed of 1400rpm.

LG Washer not completing spin cycle and says LE

It is either:
1. Thermistor error. $6 part. Easy repair
2. Motor position sensor issue. $18 part. Easy repair

check out repairclinic.com or appliancepartspros.com for repair videos. Thermistor can be replaced from bottom of washer . Videos show you where it is.

My Maytag Neptune FAV6800AW top load washer only runs for the first few minutes of the cycle, it will not spin..it just stops..we've tried two cycles, the quick wash...it starts at 33 mins and then stops...

I'm and owner and will try to help. Are you handy and do you want to try a DIY fix?

From the wash times is sounds like the washer is agitating the wash load (tumblers are rotating the wash basket load) is that correct?

If so see if the machine will complete a Spin Only cycle with no clothes in the wash basket. Set the Spin setting to Spin/Hang dry seting and start the cycle. It should take about 10 min complete. Does the Spin Only cycle complete with no clothes in the wash basket?

Some handy links if you are going to DIY.........Service Manual for reference.

I have purchased a house with the single door dishwasher and it takes forever to wash - about two hours - what could be the problem?

Check your program settings. If wash quality is good, it's OK. Check your inlet water has sufficient pressure! Refer user manual
