Do you have created the password reset disk ?
If you do, you can sign into safe mode and recover the password.
If you don’t have the windows password recovery disk. you have to take use of the third part utility, you can download it from http://www.windowsloginrecovery.com and the website will show how to recover windows password.

I have a acer aspire. been having lots of issues. I have now chosen to do a full recovery. Started by hitting alt f-10 at the startup. choosing the first choice to a full clean up restoration. it is now...

Seems like a write delay to your hard drive, a few toshiba and samsung bard drives that are use in acer aspires develop this problem, Since you are still at the Out-Of-Box setup, you should be able to do a check disk or have it scheduled with /f command.

or you can restart you computer holding F8 and select to boot with command, and use CHKDSK /F to check for errors on your hard drive, if there are sector errors, best option is to get a new HDD.

Best of Luck

HP pavilion jDv2915 laptop screen is not showing anything on the screen except for red and blue colours and lines , no matter what keys i press . it sometimes goes to normal when i press cntrl + alt+ del ...

It looks like a virus attack which is eating up your RAM memory since it sometimes comes back to normal on pressing cntrl+alt+del. It should open the task manager. Check what applications & processes are running. Run a thorough virus scan & see if solves the problem. If the laptop cannot be kept on during this scanning process I am afraid you will have to go to a authorized service center.

My computer says disk read error press cntrl alt then nada

In most cases, all recent versions of Windows use Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the Tasm Manager. You can't usually use that key combo to restart your PC.
When you did that, was any application highlighted as 'not responding?' If so, that is where you should start looking for problems.
Otherwise, try to post additional information for us here.

Password

For this kind of problem i suggest that you download a windows xp live edition from the link below:
http://hotfile.com/dl/2452774/bf2c1bc/Xp_Portable_By_subaru_20.rar.html

Then also add this utility in the windows live usb edition
http://rapidshare.com/files/237151284/PasswdRenew.exe.html

Its a password renew tool. So make sure that you include it in the Pen Drive then boot using the pen drive.

When booting just press F8 or F10 depending on your machine then go to the boot menu and choose Flash Disk or Removable Disk.

Then once the windows xp live is loaded then just run the the utility i have added.

Then here are the steps below with screen shots on how to run the utility:

Toshiba laptop- error upon start up-

I'm sorry to say that it looks like the hard drive is going or has gone bad. You can try removing it, and checking to see if it could be loose, but in virtually every case that I've seen this, the drive was dying.

If you can connect the drive to another machine as a secondary (you may need an adapter if IDE, Sata would work directly) drive, you may be able to pull some or all of your files, if the drive has not completely gone bad, and assuming where it is going bad is not where your data is stored.

The good news is that if you buy a new drive, you will need to reinstall your OS and applications, but it is likely that the machine would then work fine.
