To remove the sides, there is one torx screw on the upper side on the rear of both covers ,and one torx screw inside the front upper paper path. You open the paper path door, as if you were removing a jam, then you will see the screws on the upper top of the cover.
Remove those screws and then go to the side of the machine and pull up and out of the covers to release the tabs.
The top, I am not sure you have to remove, but where you load the ink. there are just some tabs that hold the ink loader in, You use a thin blade screwdriver to release those tabs and then lift the ink loader out. There are 2 connectors to the ink loader to unplug.

Xerox colorcube 8570 wont start

its crazy we just had one the other day that was acting up. If you have a spare control panel try switching it, look for any lights. If you know your control panel is 100% good. Then you might have to end up switching the power supply.

Xerox phaser 8200 fault code 15.004.45:30386

That is a drum heater fault code. The drum heaters are 2 ,,, 150 watt halogen lamps. One or both have burnt out.
You can verify this by shutting the machine off, then turning it back on and look into the fan opening at the right side of the machine. See if you see a glow inside the machine. I doubt you will. if not you will need to replace the lamps. Let me know if you want me to send you info how to change them.

Xerox Phaser 8200 goes through post then hangs.

Sounds like a RAM problem. Go to the back of the machine, You will see  2 large, thumb Screws, Twist them about half a turn and remove the main board. Remove and reinsert the memory stick. If that does not fix it the main board or the electronics module has probably failed.

I have a xerox 8200 with a faulty printhead and I'm attempting to replace it, the instructions say to remove the top cover but not more. How do I remove the top cover? I figured out how to remove the side...

Weird directions. You to have to remove the side covers. The top cover is the ink loader. The tray where you install your ink sticks. You need a thin flat blade screw driver to remove it. There are no screws just some tabs on the sides that you have to release and it lifts out. Pretty easy. There are 1 or 2 plugs to disconnect on the ink loader. Then remove the print block. and the 2 spring clips on the sides of the print head. It really is an easy replacement. But DO NOT under any circumstances touch the jets , the front plate of the print head.
There are no screws to take out the ink loader once you have the side covers off.

My xerox phaser has a blank screen and no green light on the front of printer. I can hear the fan so I know it is getting power...... also when I plug the usb into my computer, my laptop reads that the...

That sounds like one of two things.
Either the ribbon cable to the screen needs reset, you have to remove 4 screws I believe it is, then unplug everything to that assembly, and re plug them back in.
If that does not repair it, then most likely the electronics module has failed. That is quite expensive to replace.

Where in Belgium Europe can I find Heating halogen ligths for a 8200 phaser printer. On the old continent we use 220 volts. Xerox asks 200? plus a heavy repair fee ... Thanks for help

If you are able to do the repair yourself, then remove a lamp from the preheater assembly and look at the voltage and wattage on the bulb itself...on some there is also a lamp part number.

you can also order a repair kit from e-bay. The same lamps are used in the Phasers 840, 850, 860 & 8200

Here are 2 links that have what you need (if the internal voltages for the printer are the same in europe as in usa):

Problem printing in color on Xerox Phaser 8200 from Mac

That actually should make magazine quality color.
What are you experiencing? Do the colors not match? Are there smears or light streaks?
I will gladly work with you to revolve your problem, I just need a frame of reference to start.
Let me know.
You may simply need to download and install a different driver.
They are on www.xerox.com you should be running the PS version of a driver for better graphics.

Fan Failure Error 54

1 of 2 things.
You need to clean or replace the fan.
You have to remove the back, right side and top cover to access that fan.It is near the back just behind the fuser module.
It could also be the low voltage power supply fan. Most likely the fuser fan.
Once you remove the fan, there is a label on it, remove the label, There is a rubber plug behind the label, remove the plug and drip some lubricant into the fan. Reassembly and it should be ok.
I would recommend replacing the defective fan though.
Here is a very reliable part source.
https://www.partsdrop.com/store/

If you call ask for Britt and specify the model number and that you need a fuser fan and probably order a Power supply fan, Neither are very expensive.
Have both on hand to be 100 percent sure the problem is resolved, But its a 90 percent fuser fan failure code. It operated in a heated area and can dry out faster.

Phaser 8200

Not a problem, but turning it off causes the machine to do a setup, which then purges the ink supply and is very wastful.
