Refurbished Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3

Almost all my pictures are too bright. And the candlelight and high sensitivity mode come out with yellow spots all over everything. I don't know if it's me and I have changed a setting that I can't undo or if it's defective. Is there anyway to re-set everything? Thank you in advance. I love lots of things about this camera (long battery life, quick response to take and recover, size, feel) but I am not happy with the quality of my pictures.

Very common problem on TZ3s. On some units, it will self correct. Can you open it fully by hand and will it stay open? Some have had success by tapping on outside of extended lens with a non-abrasive plastic or hard rubber rod, etc., firmly once or twice, but not hard.

I would call Panasonic repair and try to get them to fix their design problem on you camera at no cost, first. Just google the net and you will see how prevalent this problem is, as well as what others have had some success fixing themselves.

I have black spots on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 lens camera

If you want to know if these spots are on the sensor. Or you want to exclude this, You could try this:
Put the camera in A priority. (manual mode). Turn the aperture to the highest setting. Greatest figure like f 22 I can't find the exact figure. It could be it is only 8. Then in a bright light, take a picture of a white sheet of paper. The picture that comes out, should be checked on dark spots. If they are there the spots are on the sensor. If you can't find the spots on the white picture, something else is wrong.

Bluish colour with Lumix TZ3

I found 2 different Lumix TZ3 cameras.
http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/PNAEndecaSearchCmd?N=779832097+250033510&Ne=&Ns=&Nr=12001&No=0&Ntt=tz3&Ntk=SupportSearch&URL=vSupportSearch&cmTag=false&cm_sp=&cn=&catalogId=13401&storeId=15001

In the manual, I couldn't find a reference to a bluish color.

In FAQ's, I found the following:
What is “Intelligent Auto Mode” (or IA Mode)?
“IA mode” automatically activates MEGA O.I.S., Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Exposure, and Quick Auto Focus to match your subject and shooting situation. IA Mode is a great mode for beginning photographers

How do you delete multiple pictures from the panasonic lumix DMC TZ3.  What mode and or functions on the camera do I use to delete multiple pictures at once?

Hi,
The quickest way to multiple delete pictures from you camera after you have copied or backed them up is to use the camera's menu to format the camera or/and card.

Blue photos from a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 digital camera

Hello,
It might be an idea to check whether your "white balance" is not set to "fluorescent light" or "custom white balance". "Auto" is the safest option here. Incorrect white balance would cause blue/yellow cast on the picture. Otherwise the problem might be more severe (i.e. sensor failure-not common in TZ3 though).
If you're still getting blue cast with white balance set to auto, you can try to set "custom white balance" with white sheet of paper (refer to the manual for details) - this will override auto white balance.
Good luck!

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 spots on pictures

Upgrade to the TZ3 or TZ5. TZ3 is smaller and has a great wide angle lens. You can get a very good buy on Ebay for a used or new TZ3 because it has been replaced with the latest TZ5.

You can likely get about $40 dollars for yous, if it has all the stuff it shipped with, even with the problem you mention, since repairmen buy time to fix and resell on ebay.

Hazy photos

I assume you are not shooting into sun. Try shooting with camera in its default settings and mode set to Auto Normal.

Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ3

I guess and do mean guess the sensitivity tails off sharply in low light- and it is operating at the limmits of its capability therefore no further compensation is possible. But Get Panasonic in on the act - Panasonic Technical Support.
