Gee I wonder why. Just take the battery out and let both the PSP and the battery dry out for a few days.
My psp also fell in the toilet bet i opened it and there was water everywhere so i took it out and let it dry for1 week and it work or you can always give a broken psp to Eb or game stop games for 100 bucks and just give the psp nothing else not even the battery charger or the memory stick and you can get a psp slim core form bestbuy or future shop for 120$ plus tax. please note that the store called future shop can only be found in Canada. also i suggest given it to Eb.

i also dropped my psp into the toilet and it turns on and off. All the buttons work, but the screen somtimes dosent work right i dropped it about 5 minutes ago please help
