There is a bearing on the belt pully that is in the back of your tub that is probably bad. if you remove the back cover look for black greese splatter (bad sign). that is abpout a 3 hour job for an experienced Bosch technition and very expencive. to answer your question call a Bosch repairman in your area and ask for a parts breakdown of that area, they should help you out.

The exploded parts diagram for this washer shows that a bearing and seal are inside and outside of the housing on the diagram. Are there in fact 2 bearings? Bosch does not know themselves. There are no local repair for Bosch in RI. I can order the parts but need to know if I need 2 seals & bearings and if any other parts are needed after I tear into the machine. Cannot locate a repair manual anywhere for Bosch. Their customer service is less than helpful. Dirty clothes are piling up. Should I pursue fixing this or just junk it and get a different brand replacement?
