Turn on has pix but no blue color .it will take about 30 min to have the blue.i check the blue transistor it is good it is cold and i replace the transistor but still the same .i check the collector of transistor the voltage is 270v and C suppose to have 193 v and the B&E are 9.16 that what the green and red read 193v on col 9.16 v on B and E .what do you think it might be?
Older 35" and 40" Mits have RGB driver IC's on signal board that go bad...in line 13 pin part # AN5862.....replace both...test with
heat & cold technique........... OR CRT is bad..................T.

Blue color output is less or not is the problem to your set. Check the voltages at the blue color output transistor at the CRT base card. Check the voltage at the base of this transistor. It should be almost same as the voltages present on the other two color output transistor bases. If there is no voltage; means the chroma IC should be checked. Anyway; replace this transistor; even though it measures good with multi-meter.

Your television have color problem. That symptom is cause of loose connection or cold solder in chroma section and color output driver transistor of CRT board of your television. You can fix that problem by resoldering the chroma section and crt socket section of your TV.first thing to do is open or remove the back cover of your TV,then you can see the crt board connected to picture tube.Resolder that parts, specially the color output transistor the red, green and blue driver.Resolder also the chroma section. You can see the jungle ic,thats the color ic.Make sure that there's no short circuit when soldering the PCB board. After the resoldering turn on the TV and check if color is normal.Thanks..
some of those chassis develope small cracks or cold solder joints
should be resoldered in several areas know to have that problem
transformer pin connectors-heatsink transistors/ic's have to be checked
THE CHEAPEST IS YOU NEED A COUPLE CAPISTORS ,CHECK YOUR FUSES.hAS THE SET GOT WET?.,IF SO LET IT DRY OUT FOR A WEEK AND TRY AGAIN FUSES,CAPS,POWER TRANSISTORS,THEN TRANSFORMERS ,THEN A NEW SET.
It sounds like you have a lack of signal; 1. reset TV by unplugging TV & signal sources from wall for at least 5 minutes then plug back in, 2. Turn all eguipment on such as cable box, dvd & etc, then change the inputs from your TV's remote, if still no pix, only blue.
Yes you have a problem in the red crt driver board. Most likely the driver transistor is failing. This is a component level repair, so if you have no experience with TV repair, play it safe and call in a trained tech to assist you in this matter. Good Luck
my guess would be a cold solder joint on the av board.
when picture looks good go to connectors and wiggle them if the set acts up you have your answer.
