Washer seems to get stuck in spin cycle for hours

My wife complains that the washer sometimes takes all day to finish a load and that it seems to be in the spin cycle for extended periods.

Thanks, after doing some research here, I found a sock that made it's way into the drain pump filter!

Machine stops when it comes to spin cycle. I get code F21, and I search drain holes and water valves, everything seems to be okay. When I try to drain and set, the machine sets on start cycle again.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Hi i have an Frigidaire FAFS4474LW front load washer and it always stuck in the final spin last 6 minutes and it was keep spinning on the last 6 mins and never ended. It takes over 2 hours to finish a...

Thank you for your post, Tom Lau!

I see that you are having a difficult time with your Frigidaire washer, FAFS4474LW, taking long a time to complete a cycle and not rinsing the clothes out enough. This could be a possible problem with your sensor or control panel on your washer. You may want to perform a reset on your washer to help clear out any miscommunication within the washer. In order to perform a reset you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with your washer after the reset I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Best of luck! -Matt

Hitachi model sf-95pjs top loading only spinning not not working on last of cycle even when I select spin (no rotating with high speed and cycle finish and give pip)

If the drive motor is not burnt out, then the washer has too many clothes in it to spin fast. If you cram too many clothes in the washer, it will not spin itself to ashes. It will complain. If you practice, you will find the correct amount of clothes it will spin without complaining. Eventually, the drive motor will burn up. They all die this way. hitachi-model-sf-95pjs-top-loading-only-u40lsvyytnuesyuv3fbafhtd-4-1.jpg

Front load washer FTF530FS1 stop mid cycle, sometimes for more then an hour, then starts up again, entire cycle can take more then 3 hours? Also during cycle is very loud.

Seems you have possibly 2 problems. One, check to see if the element is not faulty. If no heat during heating cycle, the washer wont proceed for a long time.. Two, if noisy, especially on spin cycle, the bearings (2 of them) and the seal are faulty. Replace them as soon as possible.
