There is no line space setting other than 1, 1.5 & 2, if tou are typing on a preprinted form it may be out of registration (6 lines to the inch).

How do I adjust the spacing between sentence and between paragraphs?

It depends on which program you are using. In Microsoft Word, to change the space between all lines in a paragraph, click the Home tab. Then in the Paragraph group, click the Line Spacing button. A popup menu should appear. Select your new line spacing value. The line spacing is set for the current paragraph or all highlighted paragraphs.

When I hit "Enter" it always double spaces. What do I need to do to get single space?

Your word default is set to double space. You need to find your paragraph setting, depending on the version of Microsoft Office you are using. Once you find the paragraph settings, you need to set it to single spacing and set the "spacing before" and "spacing after" to zero as in the attached picture.

One way to set the option is to hit control-A to highlight the whole document and then right click, and then click on Paragraph.

Double spacing

Before doing anything else, highlight all the text (including any 'white space' that might follow), that you want to change into 'single' spacing. Then go to top menu 'Format' then select 'Paragraph' and on the new menu find 'Spacing', Then on the pull down menu select 'single' and 'OK'

Printer cutting off words

Is this happening with every program you use to print? If it's just a single program, try changing the line spacing. It sounds as if you've got the line spacing too small for the current font and it's cutting off the bottoms in order to print the next line.

I have had Quickverse 2005 for some time and used it with Microsoft word 2003. The cut and past worked fine. I have upgraded the same computer to Microsoft 2007 and, when I cut and past, the line spacing...

Thanks to the folks at Microsoft for setting that as default in 2007.

Go to the home ribbon, you should see in the heading styles, a style called normal. Right click on it and select modify.

Here you can select the defaults for the normal template which is used each time Word starts. You can choose your default font, size, etc. Underneath the font you have four sections. The first one is the justification which should usually be left justified. The 2nd one is important, this is your single-double-triple spacing icon. Select the first one. The next one after that helps to fine tune that a little bit. Click the two arrows point towards each other until the spacing doesn't get any smaller. Make sure that you select New documents based on this template, then click OK. If you have any further questions, let me know and I can assist further. Also, if you could please give this solution a rating of fixya, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks and God bless!
