Price depends on the specific "specie" of the model and what model is available in the Philippines, for instance a Toshiba Satellite Pro L500 EZ1530 is USD 829.60 in Amazon, another model Satellite Pro L500 T5870 is USD 899.95 in Shopbot.com.au. Comparing the prices of laptops abroad and in the Philippines, we usually see +20% to +30% to its peso equivalent, this Toshiba laptop may range from Php 40k to Php 50k. You may need to visit nearby computer shops to know the exact price (sometimes they give promos and special -on-the-day- discounts), but usually still more expensive than the peso equivalent from the prevailing international price. In any case you may try Octagon or Toshiba (in Megamall).

Are you sure it's a hardware problem? If so you could try ebay, i only know the manufacture for the PSP phat is Sharp, so make sure you don't get any crappy aftermarket LCDs. Good luck
