My ps3 tries to upade when i turn it on but fails

The error code your getting is saying that your PS3 is failing to update. You can disconnect your system from the internet, turn off automatice updates and try it manually or you can try loading the update through the PS3's safe mode. Also, you can download the update onto a flash drive and load it onto your system from there. This link will explain how to do so.

Try disconnecting and re-configuring your internet connection.
Are you getting any error messages?

WELL U SAID U DIDNT TURN IT OFF PROPERLY MINE DID THAT TO WHAT U NEED TO DO IS SAY U WERE TO HAVE AN UPDATE U NEED TO SEE IF THERE IS AN UPDATE FOR THAT WHEN I TURNED MY ON IT SAID DIDNT TURN OFF PROPERLY SAID I NEED TO DO AN UPADATE IT TOOK ABOUT 1 MIN

If it was an error after the update was downloaded then the only thing I can think of is restoring the PS3 to factory settings and trying again.
Many times I got such an error it was because my connection was fickle, it would keep cutting out and not properly downloading the update and causing an error. In this case I would have to just keep restarting the update and hope it would finish.

On the playstation 3 site error code tool says this code is an issue updating the PS3 sytem software. Try to start with the hard drive uninstalled then try again installed. If that dont help i would format the hard drive in a laptop and see if it helps. worst casr scenario you could dissasemble the PS3 and unplug tha battery on the main board and see if that helps. HI. You will need to Clear Any Failed system updates that cause the console to error. Use this procedure to acheive this .

• With the console off, press and hold the sync up button (the small white one)
• While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console
• Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.
• During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

-Open the side of your PS3 where your HDD is. Take the screw out, but leave the HDD in.
-When the update begins, pull your HDD out of the slot. It will tell you an error occured and it tells you to restart your system and try again. Instead, let the count from 60 run out, your screen will go blank for about 30 seconds then it will start back up and tell you that your Hard Drive needs to be reformatted. If you do not get this msg after 30 seconds, do it again until it does! Now, slide your HDD into place again - (make sure your controller is PLUGGED IN) and press the white PS3 button on the controller. It will then ask you to either press start and select at same time OR white PS3 Button - PRESS START and SELECT. Do not agree to user agreements!! Simply hit cancel and it will kick back to the PS3 start up screen.

I would try to resend the settings to my device via the sonyericsson website. Just go to the support section of thier website. Also, if that doesnt work try a master reset as that sometime help. If that doesnt work, try updating the firmware by again going to the support part of the sony ericsson site downloading the update tool. Then just run the sony upadate process and it will upadate your phones software. If again that doesnt work go to your local service center and have it flashed over there.
