If you open the preferences option for your printer there should be a maintenance tab with easy options for cleaning and checking the results.
The alternative is to use the menu directly on the printer:
1. Press Menu twice to show "2. Maintenance"
2. The first option is NOZZLE CHECK
3. Press OK
This should give you a print showing the current state of each colour. If there are any missing lines in 3eBK or lines in any colours then perform the head cleaning below.
1. Press Menu twice to show "2. Maintenance"
2. Press + to show "CLEANING"
3. Press OK
Repeat the nozzle check after each clean. If not improved after three attempts try a deep clean as below (cleaning uses up ink)
1. Press Menu twice to show "2. Maintenance"
2. Press + twice to show "HEAD REFRESHING"
3. Press OK
Repeat the nozzle check. If still not printing correctly there are various external solutions available to clean the print head such as http://www.printheadhospital.co.uk/canon-hp-printhead-cleaning-kit.html

If this does not resolve the problem, please reply back and we'll try the next step ...
Are you using OEM cartridges or reloads? Sometimes the reloaded cartridges gum up the nozzles especially the black ink. If you have not tried an OEM black cartridge I woud try it.
I had a similar problem. Pages in blue, but nozzle check in black. Tried what you tried. Changed the ink ($). Still no change. Then tried the maintenance option to clean the bottom plate. And now it is working. Go figure.
please go to the maintenance tab.
This you will find if you try to print anything.
In the print box >go to properties>go to maintence
Here the following Maintenance option are there:
cleaning,
deep cleaning,
Head Alignment,
Nozzle check.
Before your start maintenance, please check whether all print tanks have ink in them
Do a Nozzle check first, this will indicate where you have the problem. Once identified, you can do a color cleanig or a deep cleaning.
Do a Nozzle check again.
You could repeat this cycle about three times or so.
If your problem still persists, then its probably the Print head with jammed nozzles.
Please let me know whether you could solve it.
Please do rate this solution and thanks for using FixYa.
Note: Ifthe printed result does not improve even after doing print head deepcleaning, turn off the printer. Then, after 24 hours or later, do printhead deep cleaning again. (After a given time interval, ink coulddissolve itself, resulting in ink unclogging.
