I cannot even see the "stuck" paper.

It was a piece of old fashioned onion skin paper and it has just disappeared in the printer. Opened the side, the back, and the front plus removed paper tray. Cannot see anything.

It will probably have wrapped itself around one of the fuser rollers. You may be able to see the fuser rollers from the rear of the printer and check to see. to remove the fuser is quite involved even after removing the 2 side covers, the top cover and the back cover. the fuser is the component that gets extremely hot, near the paper exit.

Although no paper seems stuck in the printer the display keeps repeating paper blocked

Although you didn't mention what type of printer, most of the time that I have seen this error it has been a paper issue. It can be the tiniest of pieces of paper that has torn off and gotten stuck somewhere inside the printer. It can also be a small piece of a label if you use the sticky labels in your printer.
If you have done everything to clear the paper path, opened the doors, and pulled out the trays, you may want to try spraying some canned air into the printer to see if anything comes loose. The only other way I have been able to fix this issue is to tear apart the printer and find the tiny piece of paper.

Hp deskjet 6940 paper jam light blinking every time i try to print. no paper jammed, have opened and closed all doors, turned the wheels as the other help indicators say, but still it will not print. ...

This past Saturday we just had a similiar problem on our church HP printer. Different number than yours, but most likely the same solution. It jammed when the last person used it, so they removed the crinkled paper. Or so they thought - there was a piece maybe 1-1/2" triangular shape stuck on top. I liked to never found it, I looked even with a flashlight 4 times before I caught just a hint of white way up there. If that is not it, there could be a door you have not opened. Most of them open top, back, front. Ours also opens on the side. The back opens in two places. Occasionally there can be a piece of paper you can only see from one door.

Paper jam warning

There must be somewhere still a tiny piece of paper. To check if the tomer is also good without a piece of paper stuck, put in a new tomer and see if the light is fine then. also try not to overload the paper tray just a few papers there and make sure there is no paper open all doors to the printer top and side and look for that small piece that is stuck somewhere
good luck
Please rank me good

My daughter fed an inkjet iron on transfer and is

Sometimes paper jams (and iron on jams) can cause the paper (or iron on) to get stuck in areas that are not visible to you, usually on the sides of where the paper would go. I don't know the specifics of your particular printer, but I would take a look at the guides on the side of the paper path and there are usually several screws that you can remove or loosen so that you can verify that the paper path is clear. Hope this helps and good luck!

Paper jam- I can't see the small piece of paper that is stuck without unscrewing the inside

There's a trap door in back, remove it and easily access the paper jam- credit for this answer goes to my very wise husband.

Duplex mode, paper retracted and DISAPPEARED!

For duplex the paper feeds into the bottom paper tray, you need to make sure that paper is not stuck in the bottom area.

Print cartridge cradle is stuck ican't find where it is jammed

This might help . . . Mine finished printing one doc & then made a terrible noise & sent a message to my screen that "print cartridge cradle is stuck." When i opened door, i could see it was stuck off to the left side so left cartridge was obscured. I could not get it to budge, although i kept turning it off, gently pushing & turning it back on. Finally, i got my hand inside & determined that the little door to the left-side cartridge had popped open & was causing it to remain stuck. After some struggles (turn off printer first!) i was able to maneuver it around & close it tight. Now, all is well . . .
