I would check back light inverter board first and then will check T-Con board for said problem because TV beeps before picture went off.
Please make sure TV has back light in LCD then it can be problem of T-Con board and if there is no back light then check back light inverter and its supplied volts from power supply.
T-Con and other boards can be purchased in local TV parts shops.
Thanks.
A very common problem with LCD TVs is that the backlight can
malfunction, either because the lamp (fluorescent, usually) is burned
out, or the inverter that powers it is malfunctioning or burned out.
Unfortunately, this isn't something you can repair yourself, and you
need to take it into a shop to get it fixed. If it's under warranty
still, it should be fixed for free.
They should last longer than 18months. I've had an LCD TV for about 4
years.. so far I've had no problems. (crossing my fingers!)

Have you heard of 'T-Con boards'? Where could one obtain parts from for this model. Maybe a second hand shop?
