I was descaling my exprelia coffee machine.i was asked to empty the coffee grounds unit and the drip tray. I did that and the message keeps appearing. I even turned the machine on and off. Help.

  1. Thoroughly clean the small overflow area in the drip tray. Once the drip tray gets full water flows over a small rim into this small separate part thus triggering the sensor that tells that the drip tray should be emptied. Its waals may get a bit fatty/dirty, and so remains wet and keeps triggering the sensor.

I have a AEG OKO Favorite 675 dish washer and if you start it or open the door it sounds as if it is just draining all the time, what can be wrong?

Hello Barbara, I have one of these dishwashers and this is what happens. There is a drip tray in the bottom of the machine that catches any leaked water. There is a float switch in the drip tray that detects water in the tray. If there is water in the tray, the float switch turns on the drain pump. This will immediately pump all of the water out of the machine and keep the pump running until you remove the water from the drip tray. The pump only pumps out the machine but does not pump from the drip tray. Also the pump will keep running even if the door is open or if the machine cycle is stopped. The only way to stop the pump is to turn off the electricity supply. But also turn off the water supply at the same time, because if the valve that feeds water into the machine is faulty, it will fill the machine till it overflows and if the power is off the float valve cannot turn on the drain pump. On this machine, the solenoid valve that let\'s water into the washer is at the end of the inlet pipe when is connects to the water supply. It is powered by line voltage (230 volts in our case). If this is faulty, it can be replaced with a commercial solenoid valve. The is a two core cable running inside the outer plastic pipe on the inlet pipe. This carries the power to the solenoid valve.
To empty the water from the drip tray, remove the panel from the front of the washer. It is below the front door and has two screws on each end. When you remove this you will see a hole on the left that is big enough to put your finger through and feel if there is water in the tray. If there is, push through a small plastic pipe and suck out the water. It does not take much water to switch on the float valve, maybe the door was not closed properly and some water leaked into the bottom of the unit.
I gained the above knowledge by bitter experience.

My ice machine model f-450 mah makes ice but once it's full the water keeps running and runs out of the machine how do I fix this?

Make sure the plug in the water tray is secure and not allowing water to drip out. Check to make sure the float turns off the flow water once up to level.

Our machine keeps dripping water once load is finished. We have turned off water and checked hoses as well as the water inlet valve. Everything looks fine. It is only when the hot water is on, I shut...

I would replace the inlet valves. Even though the issue is only a drip now, the failing hot water inlet will drip enough water to overflow and flood your floor if left unattended. The failure code you see is because the washer senses the water connections. It is telling you that there's no hot water available. Replace the valve- soon.

Good luck.

Water leaking (dripping) into the drum when machine is off. Drip is coming from where water dispenses into the machine to fill the drum.

Hi just read your posting. The fault with your machine is a faulty water valve.1st turn off the cold tap to the machine and leave for a couple of hrs.If the dripping stops you have a faulty cold valve. If the dripping does not stop then turn off the hot tap and that should stop the leak.Either way to fix this fault a water valve must be replaced.Or you can stop the drip by just turning the taps off after the washing has finished.Hope this helps and please reply for further help if needed.

I have a Model GSL9365EQ2. It has a slow drip

Take the drain hose out of the regular drain and lower it to gravity drain into a bucket, pan, or floor drain if available. Turning the water off should not have prevented the machine from starting. The drip is likely coming from a leaking solenoid water valve at the rear of the machine where the hoses connect. Replace the valve assembly after removing the cabinet top and maybe the cabinet back panel. Make sure to remove the power if you are going to do the work. Hope this helps!

Keeps filling up with water even on spin

Close the water supply valve and allow the machine to completely drain the water from the tub. Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the power outlet. Open the water supply valve. Replace the water inlet valve if water drips into the tub when the machine is off.

Start a new cycle if the machine stops filling when it is off. The control board or the water level switch is malfunctioning if it keeps filling even during the spin cycle. Indicate the model number for proper troubleshooting and repair assistance.

Overfill protection tripping

Is there water in the drip pan? My asko developed a leaky inlet solenoid, which would fill the drip pan eventually causing a failure. If the water evaporated, the washer would run. Normally, there should be no water in the drip pan.
