Tried to guess code 4 times. i know now it but it just says err

if you have the code (you say you do) turn radio on, push the code, radio should come on automatically (here is my code it will work on yours 2145) so 1 turn radio on. err code will show dont worry about it. 2. punch in 4 digit code.3. complete code will flash 3 times. 4. radio will be fully functional, use as normal. if you enter code wrong an Err will display for a few sec. COde will then display. repeat procedure 1-3.

If the code is 2275 for example.

Use the channel select buttons on the front of the radio.
Press channel button 1 twice
Press channel button 2 twice
Press channel button 3 seven times then
channel button 4 five times.

Once the code is in, the radio normally starts automatically.

Reinstall MSN toolbar from MSN website after uninstalling the current toolbar.

Try locking your lens on the f22 setting...that's what it sounds like your problem is....

try disconnecting the battery wait 5 min and try again.. if you punch in the wrong code to many times it will come up as err ..hope this helps.

If you enter the wrong thing 3 times I think your radio is useless

Press SCAN and AUTO.M until bars are displayed.

While the bars are displayed, input the code number by pressing the channel preset buttons 1, 2, 3, and 4. Press 1 for the first digit, 2 for the second, 3 for the third, and 4 for the last. If you number is 2547, press 1 three times, 2 six times, 3 five times, and 4 eight times. If the dispay goes off while inputing, begin from step 1.

Press SCAN and AUTO.M approximately 2 seconds and 'code' is displayed. 'code' will flash for 5 seconds, then disappear to indicate that the system is operable. If 'Err' appears, begin from step 1.

!CAUTION: Three consecutive errors will activate the antitheft system, and the audio unit will be completely inoperable and 'Err' will flash. WRONG! Leave the radio on for 1 hour using the key and accessories to reset then enter the pin. You get the pin from nissan customer service in your area but you need to supply your vin/chassis number.

this generally means the laser is either dirty or the cd player is shot, err 01 is a disc reading problem. Try cleaning lens with cleaning disc first if this does not help i would replace the unit with another. i would recommend replacing it with a cheap aftermarket stereo.

When you bought the car your dealer must have given you that code or you can call them and let them know your registeration details they will give u the code for free all you have to do is to give them your details.
