Just upgraded from an older Epson Workforce printer to this one. I use tray 1 to print #10 envelopes. Went into the settings > Paper type > hit tray 1 > selected #10 envleope and envelope paper. I go into Microsoft Word and do the "create an envelope" and type in my address. Click print and the screen on the printer says: "paper type does not match the paper source setting." It asks me to confirm that I want to print on a #10 envelope (Yes/No). How do I stop this from coming up again? I did not have to do this on my old printer. I print many envelopes on a daily basis for work. This is a big inconvenience to walk up to the printer and confirm a second time to print.
Does you machine have a bypass tray? In the print driver screen do you select the 1st draw as the source of the envelopes? does the spec of this copier do envelopes, check the Epson web site mite need to up grade the driver to do envelopes. Tray one could be the bypass tray check the spec. print driver and printer are at a in pass. When select the print driver do you check apply before OK?

You can try using Microsoft word in printing on envelopes, it is easier. On my MS word>tools>letters and mailings>envelopes and labels>click on feed and use the fourth from the left option.
Load the envelope at the right side of the printer> the envelope flap should be on the left facing the printer.
Envelopes can give all sorts of problems Back corner is flicking up. Try rolling the envelopes in the opposite direction to the "bowing" as they have been through machine once.

On the machines control panel set to sheet fed (pressing the left button will change from Sheet, roll and roll with cut). In the print settings select your paper profile. On the page setup choose sheet. In the pull down menu you should only have basic paper sizes, no custom size. choose 20x30 and try again.
let me know if this helps

If job prints from the wrong tray or on the wrong paper or specialty media, this is an indication that the operator panel menu settings do not match the media loaded in the tray.
Make sure the Paper Size and Paper Type specified in the printer driver match the paper size and type in the tray.

Selecting which tray is used for printing
You can select how the printer pulls paper from the trays.
Understanding tray order
When the printer receives a print job, it selects the tray by trying to match the requested paper
type and size with what has been loaded in the trays. Using an "autoselect" process, it searches
all available trays for the paper that satisfies the request, starting with the bottom tray and ending
with the top tray (tray 1). The printer begins printing the job as soon as it finds the proper type/
size.
Note The "autoselect" process occurs only if no specific tray is requested for the job. If a specific tray
is requested, the job prints from the requested tray.
If paper is loaded in tray 1 and tray 1 is set TRAY 1 TYPE=ANY and TRAY 1 SIZE=ANY on the
Paper Handling menu, the printer will always pull paper from tray 1 first. See "Customizing
tray 1 operation" on page 47 for more information.
If the search fails, a message appears on the printer control panel display requesting that
you load the correct paper type/size. You can load that paper type/size, or you can override
the request by selecting a different type/size at the printer control panel.
If a tray runs out of paper during a print job, the printer automatically switches to any tray that
contains the same paper type/size.
The autoselect process changes somewhat if you customize tray 1 operation (as explained in
"Customizing tray 1 operation" on page 47) or set tray 1 for manual feed (as explained in
"Manually feeding paper from tray 1" on page 49). See if this works. Good luck !
