To reset the drum counter on the 7340 series press Clear/Back.
Confirm you are installing a new drum by pressing 1.
When the LCD shows Accepted, close the front cover.

Open the front cover. Press the clear/back button. It'll ask if you want to replace the drum, but ignore that and just press *11 quickly. It should say "Accepted" on the LCD. Close the cover and it should work.
Probably not. While one exists and has been used by programmers at Brother to create the CCB app etc, they generally do not publish these for small printers. Or large ones, for that matter.
