SOURCE: HP scaner scanjet 2400

You need to reinstall the whole scanner software, you cannot just copy and paste a DLL into the system.
Dll files must be registered, you need to use driver installer for your scanner.

Just goto th hp site and enter the model of you scanner, download the drivers. Don't forget to select your systems operating system (XP, VISTA)

You can download a program which i personally use and recommend. It is called CutePDF and is available for free download HERE. All you need to do is download and install these programs on your computer, then you should be allowed o scan to PDF.

Xerox 2400 Scaner.
Where you can go is xerox.com and click on support and drivers, in the search area type in your sannner type, you may have to type it in 2 or 3 different ways until you get the proper machine, then click on downloads and drivers for the current drivers.
