I replaced toner and drum. Still get change drum soon and now I get a black line at the left edge of the paper

You have a defective cartridge.

Vertical lines and evenly spaced marks are typically caused by damaged drum. The drums are usually in the toner cartridges. If you think its coming from a a roller or wheel you should be able to just clean off the roller/wheel. The fuser is simply what melts the toner into the paper so I doubt that is your issue.
Try cleaning the rollers and wheels. If that doesnt help replace the drum/cartridge if they are combined.

This issue must be with the toner drum in your printer. Try cleaning your printer or changing the printer cartridge.

send a print / copy through the machine stop the machine via the main switch before toe paper has come out remove the drum unit
you should now be able to see part of your print on the drum if you can also see the black line check for obstructions in the light path if these seem fine the chances are the dev or cleaner blade seals have spung a leak ( time to replace the drum cartridge

Hello sir; The problem is caused by drum cleaning blade, you need to replace drum cartridge or drum blade if you can.

The problem is either with your black toner cartridge or the drum. Try changing the black cartridge first, and if this doesnt work then you will need a new drum

Its probably a defective toner. If the film on the toner drum is scratched it can cause toner to stick to the drum everytime it spins causing the constant marks.

Sry but you have to change drum cartridge, the line is caused form drums cleaning system, and it cant be repaired.

the drum of toner crtridge has expired chande the drum if available,otherwise change complete toner cartridge

Hey Paul, Can you post a scan of the printed paper? It may help diagnose your problem. The most common cause of lines accross the page is either the PhotoConductor Unit or the 2ND BTR Assy.
