This is technical unit an they can be pretty touchy with power outages sometimes. It may be in a display mode. If you havent already try unplugging the unit for a minute or two and plug it back in. This doesnt reset its programming try holding Energy Saver Key + Lighting Key for 8 seconds and let the unit run thru a self diagnstic test and hopefully it will reset. If neither works its going to have the main board replaced.

Had the same problem when hurricane Irene took the power out. Contacted Samsumg and they sent a repair man out that told me that this is a common problem and that it would cost $600 to repair my less than 3 year old refrigerator. He said it's the mother board, planning on trying to replace it myself.

I noticed this occurs when the Ice Machine get jammed up.
Remove all ICE from Tray and Clean.

Press and Hold Energy Save+Alarm Button for 10 Sec.
