Wireless and Bluetooth are different protocols. They won't connect. Instead check Network Connections in Control Panel for wireless and connect that way.

Then let's suppose you want to connect your phone to the laptop bluetooth:
Turn on the bluetooth in your mobile and make it visible to the other bluetooth device then only your handphone will detect the other bluetooth device and viceversa. Most of the recent notebooks are having bluetooth enabled but in some notebooks we need to turn on the bluetooth by using the buttons which indicated as bluetooth. Once you turn on then get into your computer running windows vista type this following command in the search box or in the run box "ncpa.cpl" it will take you to the network connection window [you can even use control panel option to reach the network options]. In that window where you find the bluetooth connection.Click the icon first and look it on the top of the window where you can see an option "Connect the the bluetooth"click it then you need to add the bluetooth device click add. It will find your hand phone then it will ask the passpharse key you can create one and then your handphone alert you to type the same key that u given in the notebook.Once it matched it will connect automatically. Later type bluetooth in the search option where you will get an option as Bluetooth(Transfer files wizard) . Click it then you receive or send the file via bluetooth between your notebook and handphone.Hope it helped.
The computer have 3 buttons. One is the DVD, the second is de Media Player, and the third is the wireless devices switch. If this button is not lighted, all wireless connections are off (both WIFI and Bluetooth).
