Tried unplugging and that does not work. Also tried to do a deep clean but when the PC talks to the printer it comes up operator error and it won't do anything.

Re: Since replacing 2 ink cartrides the printer doesn't...
Have you tried unplugging the power cord from the back of the printer waiting a few seconds and plugging it back in. This may help it recognize the cartridges.
The only other thing that I can really suggest is that you uninstall the drive and try to reinstall the printer to your pc.The only other thing that I can really suggest is that you uninstall the drive and try to reinstall the printer to your pc.

If the 6 flashes are accompanied by an on screen message #5400, this is a "Service Call Error" code.
This code indicates the following;
Internal temperature error [5400]
The solution to this is the following part replacementl
- Logic board ***'y (QM2-1548) *1
*1: Before replacement of the logic board ***'y, check the waste ink amount (by service test print or EEPROM information print). If the waste ink amount is 7% or more, also replace the bottom case unit (QM2-1205) or the ink absorbers (QC1-4222 / 4223 / 4224 / 4263 / 4264 / 4864 / 4221 / 4257) when replacing the logic board ***'y. [See Section 3-3. Adjustment / Settings, (6) Service mode, for details.]
Check usb cable if they are installed firmly and correctly. Check proper voltage input though designed as Autovolt system.
Try plugging the usb cable on another free usb port or you may try another computer to check if your printer works.
See if there are blinking lights and error codes. You can google for its error codes.
Check flex cable continuity, maybe some rodents have eaten it.
Remove ink cartridge, turn the power off and clean cartridge contacts including the holder contacts, turn it on and return cartridges. You may try borrowing a working ink cartridge of the same type from a friend.
Take out the cartridge and inspect it... have you removed all the protective tape. reinsert it and make sure it is in correctly (the same as the others)
