Paper jams whenever i want to print a document i get a error message on the printer : 13 paper jammed and i suspect it's got something to do with the mechanics of the printer

We get a paper jam error the first time we try to print even though the paper just passes through. We retry and the second time through it normally prints but overall I have not been impressed with the HP6110. The first 4 or 5 months the printer worked flawlessly. We aren't heavy printers, however, the kids use it alot for homework and that is the reason we purchased this printer. For no apparent reason now everytime we try to print we get a paper jam. Sometimes the paper passes through, but mostly it just goes in partway and stops. I pull the paper out, open and close the front cover, and reinsert the paper and this usually fixes the error. Any solutions would be helpful.

The error message will not go away even though there is no jammed paper so the printer has been rendered useless

I can not print. The paper is not pass. I only see " paper jammed". I hear loud grinding sound.I do not know what I can do.

Having the same problem that everyone else is describing. We do not use the printer that frequently and today we had a paper jam. Removed the paper from the back as the manual prescribed, but can't use the printer now. The printer grinds and then says paper jam again. I can't find anything to be removed.
