You may have to check your motor brushes; if worn out your spin will not function properly. Go to youtube with your model, make, etc; it is a very easy fix. Hope your filter is clean and your wall drain is not blocked.

Scanfrost topload washing machine with model number SFWMTLYK CAPACITY 8kg would not spin, but wash and drain

Looks like it is a 'Scanfrost' not a 'Scanfront', so I edited it.

This is a Nigerian machine and we are in North America. These links should work better for you. E3 appears to be a lid lock issue or uneven load.

Defy twin tub 800. Why is the washer drain water filling up spinner drum?

The 'flat black round rubber' part is a non return valve so that water can't flow back washer to spinner, or spinner to washer. That part needs replacing. These machines are not available to us in North America, but this link should work well for you.

The E1 or E2 error code is an Auto-Stop Protection Error, indicating an issue detected by a sensor. This error code will require service. In this case, you need to drain water and remove the laundry. Then, run the rinse mode to clean the drum. Next, start the technique to make sure that the OC error has disappeared. If the washing machine is not correctly connected to the drain hose, OE, OF, E3 will appear on display.

How we solve toshiba washing machine E3 error code?

Every manufacturer uses different error codes:

Error code E3 - Samsung washing machine
When your Samsung Washing Machine shows the error code 3e, the most common reason is because of a "wire harness or wiring connection is loose, not connected, or wiring is damaged".

Error code E3 - Hoover washing machine
Should the error code E3 appears it is warning that the machine is not draining. You can easily fix this problem by removing any blockages from the drain pump situated at the front of the machine for easy access.

MY SAMSUNG WASHER HAS AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT SAYS E3 AND IT WONT SPIN

I did an internet search on your error code. I found the following for a 3E code (as opposed to the E3 code you mentioned)...I kept looking and eventually found something for E3:

3E code - Motor tacho fault detected Can also be caused by be main PCB
If the motor tacho signals are inputted less than 2 for 2 seconds after main drive motor started, this error will occur.
  • Check motor
  • Check motor tacho
  • Check all connections and blocks to the motor
  • Check connections on the main control module
  • Check main control module

E3 code The "E3" error indicates that a Samsung washer's motor is not running properly. The cycle can usually be restarted by pressing the "Start/Pause" button. However, if the error code appears again, you should contact an authorized service technician.

Hope this helps.

Error code E3 on Samsung DMS500TRW dishwasher

3E error in Samsung dishwashers normally relates to high temperature error. This means the dishwasher is detecting over 80deg C water temperature. However if it is 5E that means drain error. If your dishwasher is draining correctly then please check the error again.

E3 error

“E3” code – Machine control is attempting to drive the motor but is not seeing any tach response. Visual Check shows motor is not moving. (Locked or Hall Sensor fault.)
Possible causes of ‘E3’ codes: 1. Spin drum stuck – Verify that the spinner moves freely to eliminate this cause. 2. Hall Sensor fails or is loose – When the Hall Sensor fails or becomes dislodged, the control doesn't recognize that the motor is spinning and shuts down. The result will likely be an “E3” code in the worst case, or “SUdS” if it is only getting a partial rpm reading. Check wire harness connector(s) to motor.
Hall Sensor – PCB that is located on the back of the motor that senses motor rpm. It is not a separate part, but rather an integral part of the motor.

We are getting error code E3. What does this mean

Looks like you have either a stuck drum (does not spin) or an electrical fault that make the washer think the drum is not moving.

From a 2006 Technical Bulletin:

E3: Machine control is attempting to drive the motor but is not seeing any tach response. Visual Check shows motor is not moving. (Locked or Hall Sensor fault.)

Specifically, it could be:

1. Spin drum stuck – Verify that the spinner moves freely to eliminate this cause.
2. Hall Sensor (integral part of motor) fails or is loose – When the Hall Sensor fails or becomes dislodged, the control doesn't recognize that the motor is spinning and shuts down. The result will likely be an “E3” code in the worst case, or “SUdS” if it is only getting a partial rpm reading. Check wire harness connector(s) to motor.

Unless you are really overloading your machine you likely have an electrical fault, or a failure in the drive train--especially if the problem is intermittent. Probably time to call in a technician.
