This simply means that an Address attached to the name asked for,, that was requested from a DNS Domain Name Server, didn't connect, or work properly,or be acknowledged. So the device indicates that as an Error Message.for Information. As In reality, unless it is the ONLY DNS, and you weren't able to connect to the Internet then it would be of concern, as it is now, it is merely telling you that this event has happened. It may be as simple as an incorrect DNS setting in a router, or a used to be valid "Address" that doesn't exist, or cannot be reached, for whatever reason anymore.
either ur connection is low in ur house or your too far away from the router sounds dumb but some houses weirdly have lower connection than others u might need to set ur dns manually if not try auto search it might help it sorry if it dont
I've had the same problem, cant connect my psp at school, most likely in your case its the same reason as mine, The schools I.P. address is locked and you need a password to access it.
Error code : (80410418) - The PSP is unable to obtain IP address. + Check your router's firewall if its blocking the PSP. + Turn off the proxy in the PSP.
Check those and tell me whether still the problem exists
I don't think the problem is with your PSP. It may be you router (Internet connction). Have you tried unplugging your router and plugging it back in after a minute? That usually does the trick for me when my PSP is having trouble getting on the net.
the same thing has happened to me.. I reset my psp completely! erased everything!! and still, the same bs dns error etc.
if you find a solution to the problem..
email me at [email protected], thanx!
