Problem for Mitsubishi WS-55809 55 in. Rear Projection Television
Mitsubishi WS55809 "red" converge problem
I have a Mitsubishi WS55809 (HD1080 series) and the red converge only moves up and down. It won't move left or right. The blue converge works fine. I would appreciate any suggetions on how to fix it or what the problem might be.

- I spoke with several repair facilities. All of them said it was the "dual color" or "tri color" convergence transistors. All of them needed to be changed. THe charge was $60.00 for the transistors and $90.00 for the labor.THe parts run between $10.00 and $15.00 but the transistors are on the front of the heat sink and they can only be read by removing the board. I figure I'll bring it in and have it repaired.
