Sound only. when i turn on my psp, i just hear it's sound. the green light appears but i can see nothing on the screen. pls help me with it. thank's.

It seems your PSP is bricked. You can either send it in, or try to fix it yourself.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the firmware on the PSP might be corrupted. The only thing you'll be able to do is contact Sony for a repair, sorry.

Seems like a bad update or a bad flash. If either Pandora's Battery is the only thing that will help if you are out of warrenty.

ur PSP is semi bricked if u have a PSP model 1000 or 2000 u can unbrick it with a pandora battery and a magicmemory stick

Try first to remove the battery for about 1 minute and then put it back in and if still no display on the screen and you hear a sound it only means one thing the screen is bad and better have it check from Sony service center for a possible screen replacement...

It's your battery. Take out your battery from the psp and look on the back of it. If, at the top, it says PSP-S110 and at the bottom it says made in China, be bummed. That's what mine said and the codejunkies website warns about that battery. Dunno where to get a new one though. Hey, diagnosing the problem is half the battle. Good luck.

its either your psp is bricked(rendered useless..as entertaining as a brick becuase it wont do anything at all.) or screen came unplugged. try turning it on then turning the sound all the way up and see if you can hear the normal sounds. if you can either the screen is unplugged or ruined. if you cant and it turns off by itself then you have a brick.

I'll give you the quick story of what they did. They "bricked" the PSP. This is a term used by all PSP hackers. When you try to hack the system so you can play pirated games on the system, you will occasionally get an error that causes the system to be "bricked". They use the word "brick" because once it happens, the PSP becomes as fun as a brick. You really can't do much about it. Your best bet is to call Sony and see what they can do for you. If you know anyone else that knows what they're doing with PSPs, you could always ask them to fix it for you, but Sony would be the easiest. If you bought it new the warranty should cover it...send it back to sony. If not you may have to take to a repair center
