Double Printing We use Syspro as our financial system. We have a dedicated check printer OKI 520. To print the Remittance we switch to the other printer, OKI 5520 after the checks printed. We now have the problem that it duplicates the Remittance print. We did not have this problem when the same printer was used and the stationary changed in between( The OKI 520 as only printer) Could the error be because we switch between the printers? Syspro's option to print duplicate remittances is not selected.

we still have the problem. Checked the Parameters and Remittance settings. Next step is to print to 1 printer as in the past and see what happens.

PRINTS NOT ON DEMAND

The types of printers that you have actually should be assigned to a free port, you cant setup 2 printers on the same port. check at the back of the printer the physical attachment of two printers the OKI and the Epson, if Oki is set to lpt1 then assign port from printer properties for oki to lpt1, and lpt2 on epson. 1 printer- 1 port, so by then check if the box for enable bidirectional support is check, remove the check mark from the box by clicking on it then hit apply then try printing a test page then try printing from application.

OKIDATA Mirocline 520 is printing off-center

I assume you've checked Page setup in the particular software you are using. It seems unlikely, but perhaps something is awry with the printhead home position sensor. This device is on the left side of the printer, and essentially sets a reference point, and the printing start position is counted from this reference. Sometimes this sensor is an optical device, other times a mechanical switch. The latter would be more apt to cause problems. If another tech has a better solution, say on!
