Question about OKI MICROLINE 520 Matrix Printer
My ML 520 has recently started printing about a half inch (or 2-3 chaacters) too far to the right. I can see it actaully printing to the rubber roller. I dont see any configurations to change left/right postioning. Any ideas?
The tractor feed paper can be adjusted slightly by loosening both tractor feeds at the same time and sliding the paper over. It seems like most people would have tried this already but I'll still suggest it. My printer is fried and prints too far LEFT and I can't slide the paper any more left.

I assume you've checked Page setup in the particular software you are using. It seems unlikely, but perhaps something is awry with the printhead home position sensor. This device is on the left side of the printer, and essentially sets a reference point, and the printing start position is counted from this reference. Sometimes this sensor is an optical device, other times a mechanical switch. The latter would be more apt to cause problems. If another tech has a better solution, say on!
