Try to hold down the power buttin for about 45 seconds, if nothing happens, after ensuring all the cables are properly connected and everything is plugged in, I would suggest taking it back to the store you bought it at so you can exchange it for a new one.

A loose connection may cause your TV to turn off suddenly or an aging power supply cord. If you see any frayed wires or damage to your TV's power cord. The power cord will have to be replaced.
Could be a number of things but I would first suggest that you check the plug (from the TV) for wires touching inside ie: neutral and/or earth touching the phase terminal and/or damaged cable.
First take a cord and hook it to the motion lite and make shure it works .Remember that it only will work at night or dark area and you have to have lights in the fixture to make the contact.and make shure the plug is not on a dimmer or the wires are flipped. WHT. To the common side and black to the darker side and it has to be grounded .exspeacily if it is a led fixture.
it sounds to me like its your buttons you may have a bad or stuck button if you take the back off make sure the unit is unplugged first and dont touch the power supple where your buttons are is a wire it connects to your main board unplug this wire and turn your tv on and see if the same problem exists you will have to use the remote to turn it on or off and change imputs etc but that will tell you if its just a stuck or bad button or something more major
does it have power? check for the power led indicator if it lits up. Look for signs on the power cord if it has some exposed wires. If you have a multimeter reader check for continuity problems.
The first thing I suggest is to check the power cord and its connection if the light indicator on the front of TV won't turn on..Used multimeter or volt meter (range to AC) to measure the voltage..If no voltage, replace the power cord because the cord have internal wire break or open connection that can't visually check..
If the power cord is good, the possible problem is power supply board inside..
It cost $89.95 to this site http://www.shopjimmy.com/lg-6871qih001a-power-supply-unit.htm But before you decided to replace the power supply board please try to reset or reconnect all connectors on all boards inside specially on power supply unit..
Also I remind you when the TV already open the warranty will void...
If you more queries and clarification please feel free to reply to this tread..
Hope this solution will be helpful..Thanks for using fixya marketplace and choosing my service..
Try connecting the power-cord to a different wall-plug.
Look on the back for a "rocker" switch.
Flip it to the other side, and try the ON/OFF button.
If nothing, flip it back.
Open the case, and look for any small lamp on the motherboard.
If it is not lit, then the motherboard is not getting any power from the power-supply. Try a different power-supply.
Open the case, and look at the wires coming from the back of the front-panel to the motherboard. Look for any loose or non-connected wires. If one pair of "loose" wires is labelled 'POWER SW(itch)', then reconnect it to the appropriately-labelled pins on the motherboard.
If all else fails, take the computer to a qualified technician, for "hands-on" trouble-shooting.
i have a l32wd22 rca -----went out -- the plug from the power cord to the power supply [ a two prong jack on the side of power supply was loose]
i bent the pins slightly then plug it back in and also taped it in place---now it works fine
Your terminal block has been by-passed . Hook your black cord wire to the black screw on the terminal block. Hook your white wire to the white screw on the terminal block. Hook the bare ground to the exterior ground screw. The 2 wires that are wire-nutted together will have to hook to the red wire on the cord.(they originally went to the third connection on the terminal). You will probably have to cut and strip the red cord wire and attach it with the 2 wire-nutted connections.
