The ice maker produces ice, but at least 4X/week the ice gets hung up on top of the ice maker, not making it to the bin. This causes the ice maker to stop making ice until the ice is removed. About twice a week, the ice maker overflows and water goes all over the inside of the freezer and runs out the ice dispenser and bottom of fridge. Thoughts?

You have a better chance of finding out that the problem is a broken moduele. The fingers that grab the ice and rotate it out they should be resting at the 2 oclock posotion. If stuck in any other posotion its broken. It's expensive but not hard to do. If you had a bad soloniod you would either have a frozen tube or a block of ice at the top

Not enough model to get the wire diagram. It sounds like a diode is out in the water valve harness. If it is using the triple valve on that unit.

are the "fingers" of the icemaker pointed toward you and slightly up? if not the icemaker is internally broken . is the red light to the right blinking twice and then a one second pause? if not the emmitter is broken. is the black hose coming from the ceiling blocked with ice ? if so the water vave is broken allowing water to seep in hose and freeze. hope this helps.

The ice door located in the ice chute in the door is not closing. Allowing wam air in your ice bin which melts the ice at the bottom of your bin there for making a huge ice dam. Replace cirercut board at cost of 295.00
