if it is supposed to be a frost free, then either the defrost element has failed or the timer for same has . I would suggest you call a repair service tech.

Obviously there is an issue, perhaps a safety issue.
Suggest don't over-ride anything.
Check your owner's manual to see what blinking light indicates.

Nagel.He is a really good architect and has worked in various building and has designed few masterpieces.There are many architects but it is really difficult to find a good one.His architectural styles are institutional, residential, commercial and general. Sounds like a defrost problem if the evaporator is frozen over. If it's just Ice blocking air transfer on a top freezer model, then it's a blocked defrost drain.

The OptimIce feature assists with temporary periods of heavy
ice use by increasing ice production.

Press the OptimIce feature touch pad to set the freezer to
the lowest temperature setting. Press the OptimIce touch pad again to return to the normal freezer set point.

Try lubricating the bearings in the motor with a very thin oil like sewing machine oil.

To fix this you will need an Allen wrench small one there are 2 set screws on the inside part of the handle (on side toward the center) you wil need to tighten these to fix your problem

Are you getting any water.
If you push the tab for water any you hear a buzzing or humming sound with no water then it could be you water pump which is located at the back of the fridge.
Just follow the water line and you will find it .
It's a small pump

Hi, sounds sticky to me, or it wants the kids back home. But anyway try finding the travel of the tube, could have fallen off on other side, or has blockage since we have so much junk in our water today. Also although your filter is green if its good, I would take it out and clean it, not replace just clean it, and a must fine hose must be a problem, wish I was there ! Frankie!
