with out knowing name brand an model# i would say it sounds like there is a drain tube missing from the upper patr or freezwr area to the drain hole at the rear bottom . there is a drain pan under the refridge which catches this water then it evarperates. it also cab that the proper drain is pluged or blocked with algie which is comon try a little bleach to clean out the drain area

Try to put a tray under the fridge to collect the dripping before handling the mold.

Defrost drain most likely clogged

The previous answer is spot on - but just try a 'manual' defrost first - ie remove food and turn the unit 'off' for 24 hours to allow ice to melt and drip channels to defrost and clear. If no good and the problem re-occurs, then by all means go ahead with stripping and clearing as described above.
