Password We closed one of our offices that used Norstar phones. I am now using the phone but need a password to make any changes. What can I do to change the time and the names displayed on each phone set? We have a 7310 Norstar.

Depending on the type of voicemail you have It can be accomplished by calling in to the office and when the main greeting starts playing press **, the administrator mailbox number, the password and the pound key (the administrator password must be changed from 0000). Once in the mailbox press either 9 or 99 at this point you can re record the main greeting.
The password you need is cnfig 266344 So you enter feature ** 266344 password 266344 this will get you in now go to maintenace and reset the phone its probably oos

Press PSWD or the # 4 key <Display> Pswd:
Enter your new password (note: your password cannot begin with a zero "0") <Display> Accept Password?:
Press YES Your New Password has now been recorded!
first press Feature 983. if your system has 2 digit intercom #s your password is 120000 if your system has 3 digit intercom #s your password is 1020000. once you have entered the password you will see 3 selections you can make .use the three soft keys under the display and select mailbox . input the mailbox # whichis usually your extension # and press ok . you will see reset password option. press yes or ok and hit release . next time you log in now your password is four zeros and then you will be prompted to change your password .. any four digits just cant begin with zero.
Press Feature 985
Press the 9 Key
Enter RESETSMPSWD (73738767793) using the dialpad
Press YES
Once you have RESET the password, it reverts to the default.

If your system uses 3 digit extensions use 1020000
If your system uses 4 digit extensions use 10020000
You will need to dial into the system admin of the voicemail Feature 983 the password is dependant on how many digits your extensions use. 1020000 for 3 digit and 10020000 for 4 digit, 120000 for 2 digit. go through the screens
Mailboxes, modify, scroll to password and press change. Will reset to 0000.
