Ps2 not reading disc.

- The main reason behind the tests is to further describe your problem. Just saying that the PS2 doesn't read any disks is too vague. A laser lens has many many functions to it. They are all based on conditions. There are two voltage regulators that control the power of the laser for two modes CD's and DVD's. There are also many many reported cases of where one will work but the other will not. In order for anyone to help you, you need to tell us if it's reading only cd's, only dvd's, or neither. The test results tell tech's many things. If it's reading cd's but not dvd's or vice versa this tells techs that the voltage on the lens is out of alignment. If it reads nothing at all (burned media or non burned media, DVD movies, music CD) This would tell us that either the lens is out of alignment or possably damaged.
