The following link explains the "F02" error:

More than likely you have debris in your drain pump. This is a common issue with these washers. It doesn't take much to damage the drain pump. If something has been clogged in the pump for an extended period of time, the pump still may not work properly, even after cleaning it out. So...if you follow the advice in the link and you still have drainage issues, you will probably have to replace the drain pump.

If you require a new drain pump, they can be ordered on line at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and look for item number 10 (part #8181684) under the "Pump and Motor Parts" heading. Replacing the pump is not difficult. If you need instructions, follow this link:

Washer is flashing f2

F2 on a Whirlpool Duet means their is a problem with the Drain Pump or Drain Pump Filter. The Drain Pump and Filter are located at the bottom of the Washing machine. You must remove the front, bottom panel to gain access to the Drain Pump and Filter. Disconnect the Filter and Drain Hoses and clear them out. If they are clear, you may need to replace your Drain Pump.

Whirlpool Duet Mdl GHW9150PWO Washer stops

HI. this code represents a Long Drain issue.

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and F02 is flashed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
• Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
• Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects
• If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

There is a block in your pump, you have to locate it, dismantle it & remove the block. Plug off the wall first.
