Hi Stephen I also have a sony ericsson (D750i) with joystick problems. As i suspect it's dust clogging the contact points beneath, what i do to clear it is use a fine old toothbrush to brush around the opening of the joystick and it also helps if you blow hard into that area...i imagine a compressed airline would be ideal. Iknow it seems a bit primitive doing this to such a technologically advanced phone but it does work....even though it is only for a couple days. As i've got about 4-5 months left on my present 18 contract, my next step is to see if one of those mobile phone "hospital" shops can open it up and give it a good clean and maybe sort a new facsia for it. Anyway, i'm not sure i'll be going for a sony next time....unless they can sort this problem. Good Luck Andrew

Here's a GREAT idea! BECAUSE this is such a nice but older Sony... "I" would use a Blu-Tooth SPEAKER with a AUX speaker input! LOTS of AUDIO and VERY inexpensive too! OR I recently bought a BlueTooth TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER that has a 3.5mm" Jack right from it's body! Depending on the 'mode' it's in ~ it will TRANSMIT audio (like from your Sony) to a Bluetooth Speaker! (In it's second mode it acts like a BT RECEIVER.) ALSO earphone jacks become dirty and the contacts that SWITCH THE SPEAKER OFF become poor conductors that starve the speaker for volume... anything more than this MAY constitute a MAJOR repair cost... hi Karan. as its already been asked by Anthony Cardenas,it would have helped if you had of said what model. but this is all i could find out. Try another USB cable. If that doesn't work then the headphones may be faulty. Do they have easily replaceable batteries? It's worth finding out if the batteries can be changed I had the same problem with mine, I'd not used them for a few weeks and they wouldn't charge. At least thats what I though. Try leaving them on charge on the PS3 for a few hours regardless of charging light. Also try pluging them into a PC with the wireless dongle, you're PC should recognise them as speakers and mic, if that works at least you know the headset is fine. like i said this is all i could find on the internet so not sure if its any help to you,if not sorry for taking up your time,and i hope someone does get to help you out with this. or see if this link helps you out.
