I have my Dash apart I cannot disengage my alarm I have a 2000 Toyota Camry I'm looking directly at the fuse panel I still cannot figure out where the fuse for the alarm is I don't have the original...

no fuse for alarm ---and check and test key and ignition cylinder -key and or ignition needs to be flashed to vehicle start with that ---if you dont know what your doing have a repair shop take over [ trying to search for fuse or bypass a security system can lead to more problems and $$$$] and vehicle still wont start

How to disable an alarm system on 1998 Isuzu rodeo..

are you in the USA?
Isuzu is bad to own here.
the below is my answer for stock car with stock
engine start blocking feature, factory stock.

I would first find that alarm module
then id take it out of car and photo it totally (see bypass below)
non stock alarms, you need to say so..... for sure...

ok im reading your FSM book now.
it did have a factory option seen below
lets me say how to bypass that. now....
BYPASS is easy:

cut this wire first. on top right.
white-green pin 28 on alarm box.
that wire runs the starter crank like , key line.
then strip it (out going wire) and move it to Ground.

25783945-zy5i2xuw3mfjw4tca3plar50-1-0.jpgthis makes the starter relay pin, at ground full time.
this fools the relay into thinking, it's never in alarm.
and now cranks. and might start,
if its does crank, say so and we can work that issue easy.

but do sell this dog.... (or get a parts car , ) IMO !

My corvette won't turn over got new battery.security light is on .run fine before than it shut off .

Make sure your pats key is clean. Sometimes the chip gets dirty. Also try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. This will reset the system...

I have a 1997 vw cabrio. i replaced my battery n when i hook up the battery my alarm goes off n my driver side lock cylinder fell out how do i disarm my alarm?

You need to bypass the alarm if you do not have the remote to disable it and the key lock fell out. I have posted multiple times about how to bypass the stock alarm and still have everything work. If you need any help on doing this please feel free to message me.

Had original radio replaced-no problems until I

lock your door and hold the key in that position, and then turn it the other way and hold it until they roll up, this should set the alarm back. If that doesnt work try replacing the radio with the stock one, your third option is to bypass the alarm module.

Cadillac seville won't start

I've got an even cheaper and easier solution, instead of buying a new cylinder, find that plug and snip the orange wires going to the old cylinder. Then remove the resistor chip from the key and solder each of the the wires to each side. this will fool the car into thinking the correct resistor chip is in place, allowing you to use the original key or any copies with or without resistor chips. i just did this to my caddy and it roared to life! :)

Need to change the ignition switch

Remove panel under steering wheel. Put key in cylinder and turn back to accessory position. Looking under lower part of steering column locate a small pin under the key cylinder. While depressing the pin turn the key backwards and pull the entire cylinder with key out of column. Good luck.
