Our GE dbvh512efoww connection to the dyer flashed when I moved the cord. Is this a defect associated with the model?

Most likely, No. It’s probably a loose connection where cord attaches to machine.

GE Profile Harmony electric dryer blower motor not working

this dryer has two motors in it,all of the errors other than the touchpad were for heat problems and most likely caused by a bad blower motor that did fail alot.

Converting from a GE Electric dryer cord to a 4 prong, not sure where the green ground wire connects too? The middle wire ( white ) has a copper medal strip connected straight up that is open?

Green wire in 4 prong cord is a ground wire. It goes to ground screw that is separate from terminal block, usually right beside electrical opening.

My GE dryer model DBXR463EBOCC was working perfectly. I opened the door to get something out and it stopped. Now, nothing. I checked the plug, GFI, and breaker, so that's not the problem.

Yes. It not working correctly, a G7 plug might solve it. If not then use a G9. I know double the cost but G9 should fix it for sure.

Have ge dryer gtdp74oedoww It has power and lights. Installed new door switch and fuse. Still will not start, but will beep when buttons pushed.

I put a link some issue which will cause a no start. I notice you changed the fuse it gives some things to check if the thermal fuse is blown. https://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Dryer/1-3--/GE-Dryer-won-t-start
