Is it a new one? They are very complicated to set. You need to read the instructions twice, then use it step by step setting it.

Did you set the correct time of day first, (the clock)? It sound like you have set the on time, perhaps not the Off time and it doesn't know what time it is?

Then after all that, you have set it from Off, to On or Auto.

I had the same problem. What worked for me, after several unsuccessful registration attempts, was to disconnect the phone handset battery for about 1 min and then reconnect the battery. Run the handset registration procedure again. It registered for me on the first attempt after the battery reinstall. Good luck.

There is a good chance you will need to replace it - again and again and again. Electronics were never intended to be utilized in hot or damp/moist environments. But appliance manufacturers could not resist the urge to go modern and replace the perfectly good knobs we all grew up with with buttons and displays that tend to confuse more that help. It is for this reason that appliances today will never last the 10-15 years that the ones our parents bought lasted. The manufacturers know this as well and they're laughing all the way to the bank...

behind the timer knob if you pull it out you will see a plastic horse shoe shaped pin clip that holds the knob on the shaft. could be a very cheap fix if it has broken or worn so that it does not let the shaft all the way out.

It could be just the start capacitor for the compressor that has gone out. Easy way of checking is to take a screwdriver and short across the leads after you have unhooked it from the wiring connectors (don't touch metal while doing this, it CAN shock you) and take an analog meter, put it on ohms for resistance, and touch it across the two connectors. The meter should jump, then switch leads and touch them again. It should jump consistently like this. If it's not that, then it's probably either faulty wiring, switch or if all else fails it could be the compressor went to ground. Take off the leads going to it, again set the meter to full resistance, and put one lead on copper tubing going into the compressor, and touch each pin of the connector on unit. If any of them read anything, then it is the compressor. Hope this helps.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F3 in your range/oven means oven temperature sensor circuit failure. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
