Pioneer DEH-P7000BT Car CD/... Problem with installation of USB & microphone

Hi,
I have an "04" Honda Element that I'm in the process of installing this new Pioneer unit. Wiring harness is connected and the unit works fine. I want to hook-up the microphone for the bluetooth and the USB connection for my iPod. The microphone cable must be 10' long and I want to install it from the top of the steering column back to the radio. What would be the easiest way to run the cable back to the radio without being seen and the same thing with the USB connection cable? Microphone will be attached with either super glue or dbl sided tape. I imagine the best place to run the USB cable would probably be to the glove compartment? I understand how to run the cables, it's just that I'd like ideas without having to drill a bunch of holes in my car. Any help would be much appreciated...

The glovebox is the easiest. I managed to find a "hole" to run the cable through from the compartment to the rear of the head unit. Use a flashlight to help you find possible places to run the cable through. Either shine flashlight from glovebox into console or vice versa. Look for where light shines through to find place to run cable. Use a wire hanger to run cable through the hole if it isn't accessible by hand.

For mic, I just removed the drivers side A-pillar trim and placed wire in there. Attached mic to visor. Some wire is visible, but not much.

I need a instruction manual for a DEH-P7000

Pioneer Electronics lists two CD Receivers that start DEH-P7000 among their previous models. The manuals for the model with Blue-Tooth support is available on that product page. See the link marked Manuals & Brochures on the left side of the page.

Which In-Dash Receiver do you have? The manual for the DEH-P7000BT is here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Unassigned-Content/Manuals/DEH-P7000BT+OPERATION+MANUAL . A lot of the operations will be the same for the DEH-P7000R.

For other available Pioneer receiver documentation, see http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/ch.CD-Receivers.Archived .

I hope this helps.

Wiring. diagram for a pioneer DEH-P7000BT to a 2002 Acura 3.2 TL

There's a "P" before the 6000UB right? This is the only installation manual i could find, i'm pretty sure it's the one u need. Now for the wires that connect to the car, you need to go down to either wal mart or any audio installation shop and get the installation kit for your 2002 Acura TL. It has to be vehicle specific or else it won't work, but you need this in order for a smooth installation. All you have to do is match up the same color wires and connect. Good luck...just copy and paste the link below
