if your TV unit is totally went black or even a raster doesn't appear on the screen, the problem maybe the power inverter board for the back light or the back light itself must be the reason of no picture. you will need to open the back cover then look for the inverter board where the lamp is connected, check bad components like shorted FET transistor and mostly electrolytic capacitors which blow up to its casing and it becomes leak causes a low voltage and can not give enough supply to the lamp. and then next you need to consider is faulty or busted back light which the main source to illuminate light to make the screen visible. if you need parts replacement click this www.lcdparts.net/CCFLA13D.aspx you can find here replacement part.good day and good luck hope it can help you.

well snowy screen is good. It usually means that your antenna is dosconnected check coax and alls connections

You have a lamp driver error that can be and most likely is faulty and has to be replaced,Also i would not recommend you putting a bigger lamp unless the part numbers are the same to the lamp you are replacing.Moreover most of sony's error codes are the same from crt to lamp tv set like your lcd model tv set, the same concept was used to built your lcd tv set just with different features.

Go to the Anantek website and search for your TV or similar TV's to see if anyone has posted repair hints. I've fixed several TV's and other electronic equipment from their website.

I solved the problem by useing the brighthouse remote procedure to locate the code # appropriate for the Insignia 32" tv, the unit is currently functioning as it should, thanks for responding.
