The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly.
As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation - but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

OE is a drain error - Check there isn't a kink in your drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, the drain hose can become clogged with sludge, sometimes a hot wash with 1/2 a cup of vinegar will remove this sludge

you may have a problem with your pump.water is most likely still in machine.some pumps have filter on them.

According to service manual, the drain motor is at the front, but the hose drains out the back. Possibly a leak in the drain hose?

we also have now gotten the same message and same poor help the company is aware of this problem but sadly, the almost $500 replacement to fix the problem is the same original parts that go wrong in the machine so they haven't upgraded the replacement parts which means you pay to get the new part--WAIT for it to arrive because NO ONE stocks LG parts, and then the new part is not any better than the original. We are selling ours and getting a Kenmore.

There is a vent at the back of the machine near the top that is covered by a small round white plastic cross pattern. Inside of the machine there is a black flexible hose that attaches to the vent from the top of the outer tub. inside of the tub attachment point is supposed to be a light blue plastic valve that looks like an old style army helmet on a peg. The peg fits into a flange in the opening on the outer tub. If this valve is missing water will escape from the vent on the back of the machine. Another likely point of water leak is a loose inlet hose or missing washer on the inlet hose.
