Memory Card are also type of hardware like hard Disk and are required to be protected from any unauthorized access. Deleting of Data from these cards is not enough as the data can be recovered from these data storage sights. so be careful while handing over your Memory Cards as the receiver can recover any type of data even from your broken hard disks and same goes to the other memory storage devices as the deleting or erasing does not do a needful
Factory Data Reset- Factory Data Reset can be accessed through your settings which can be found either on your main screen or in your Apps/Widgets (tap on 6 squares in upper right hand corner) menu. From settings, on the left hand column, tap on Backup and Reset. On the right hand side tap on Factory Data Reset. This will take you to a screen that will give you the option to check the Erase SD card option which, when checked, will ensure that your pictures and any other personal information on this device will delete during the reset. Last, tap on Reset tablet and Erase everything.

First off we need to make sure that it's the Card and not your computer. Does your machine read other cards? If so go to the next paragraph. If you don't have other memory cards to try to find another computer to try your card in., or if you can read your card in another computer, or other cards can't be read in your computer then your computer has the problem, and I would reinstall the drivers.
If you card is the problem the only thing to try is to clean the contacts. Lay the card down on a flat surface; gently rub the contacts with a pencil eraser to buff the contacts. Be careful not to use as much force as to damage the contacts.
But finally, you've probably heard this before but, "All media goes bad." Removable media is particularly vulnerable due to the way most people handle it. I have all my important files in at least 3 locations. But I too learned this lesson the hard way.
I assume by "fix" you mean to recover the data you erased.
If you haven't done anything to the card since you erased it, you may be able to recover much of the data. Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program appropriate for your computer and operating system. Put the card into a card reader attached to your computer and run the program.
contacts maybe corroded on card use rubber eraser and gently rub contacts on card make sure no residue from eraser is left on card ie... blow on it check port on phone and use canned or compressed air and blow it out as well, hope this helps retrieve your data, try using some else's computer to download data or see if it is detected
If there is exisiting content on your media card, in some cases the phone will not be able to use/read the data without formatting the media card (which will erase the current data but make it able to read any new data saved on the media card)

Dear,
Remember one thing that memory card/USB flash drive must be handle very
carefully because data recovery ratio from such devices is near about 0%. It
means you should never format such media till and until you took a back of its
data on a PC updated with latest antivirus.
If the memory card is not recognized in the PC or it is impossible to access the data on it, the controller on the card is damaged. There is only one way to get the data back, unsolder memory chips and directly access their raw data with a programable chip reader. Software can't help, that is a physical damage!
