If it does not turn on then it is usually due to a component level failure on one of the boards. Does the LED at the front blink or just stay on? Does it make a clicking noise like its trying to turn on when you press the power button on your remote? Also please let me know the make and model of the tv. Please provide this info so that I can offer you insights into the cause of the problem and how to fix it.

Sai.

the led light does not come on and the power button is working I have tried the remote and that didn't work either. My husband pulled it apart and found that a fuse was blown so we replaced it then it turned on for a second then blew both fuses? any idea? he thinks we need to replace the board but not sure if this may cost more than buying a new tv?
    thanks

The cost of the board depends on the make and model of the tv. Please get me this info and I will tell you how much a replacement costs

Monitor standby won't stay on /pioneer 424mv

What is the source of the TV signal? I know many monitors have a "power-saving mode" that returns the unit to standby if there is no signal coming in.

Check that the signal cables are working (try swapping cables). Make sure the source is on before turning on the TV. Press the Input button to select a different source. Make sure that the source signal is not refreshing (or synching) at a rate that is incompatible with the TV. (If your source is a PC that was previously connected to a CRT monitor, the refresh rate should be reset to 60 Hz before connecting the computer the the Pioneer 424MV.)

I hope this helps.

My printer won't turn on

Hi

Either the power source has issues or the power jack on printer has gone bad or printer's main board has issues.
Verify that the electrical connections and outlet are functioning:-

Unplug the power cable or power module from the electrical outlet.Unplug the power cable or power module cable from any power strips or surge suppressors. If the product uses a power module with a detachable power cord, unplug the cord from the power module, and then plug it back into the power module.Unplug the power cable or power module from the back of the product.Wait at least 30 seconds, and then plug in the power cable or power module into the electrical outlet.Plug the power cable or power module back into the product.Turn the product on.
If this doesnt help, take the printer to another room and plug it in another power source.
If this doesnt help, use a multimeter to check if adapter is giving out right voltage.
If adapter and power source are fine, then your printer has a hardware issue and needs to be repaired by Canon.

Have a samsung 32in flatscreen that i unpluged and when i pluged it back in it will not come on

hi just unplug again don't use for an hour to discharge excessive voltage store at the power supply usually at the primary capacitor and also to reset the processor which turn on/off the circuit.while you are waiting to discharge the voltage check the power outlet try to plug other equipment just to let you know if the power source is good. now if it is present try to plug and turn on the unit observe if it is working.if still won't power on you will need to open the back cover keep the screw not to loose check first blown fuse at the power supply if no light indicator at the front panel when you turn on the unit it was power supply failure because no stand by supply. check bulged capacitor replace with branded parts use with high temperature rating capacity 105c.check also other obvious defective part. you can order parts at parts.digikey.com. hope it will help you thanks for choosing the fixya good luck.
