If it does not turn on then it is usually due to a component level failure on one of the boards. Does the LED at the front blink or just stay on? Does it make a clicking noise like its trying to turn on when you press the power button on your remote? Also please let me know the make and model of the tv. Please provide this info so that I can offer you insights into the cause of the problem and how to fix it.
Sai.
the led light does not come on and the power button is working I have tried the remote and that didn't work either. My husband pulled it apart and found that a fuse was blown so we replaced it then it turned on for a second then blew both fuses? any idea? he thinks we need to replace the board but not sure if this may cost more than buying a new tv?
thanks
The cost of the board depends on the make and model of the tv. Please get me this info and I will tell you how much a replacement costs

Hi
Either the power source has issues or the power jack on printer has gone bad or printer's main board has issues.
Verify that the electrical connections and outlet are functioning:-
Unplug the power cable or power module from the electrical outlet.Unplug the power cable or power module cable from any power strips or surge suppressors. If the product uses a power module with a detachable power cord, unplug the cord from the power module, and then plug it back into the power module.Unplug the power cable or power module from the back of the product.Wait at least 30 seconds, and then plug in the power cable or power module into the electrical outlet.Plug the power cable or power module back into the product.Turn the product on.
If this doesnt help, take the printer to another room and plug it in another power source.
If this doesnt help, use a multimeter to check if adapter is giving out right voltage.
If adapter and power source are fine, then your printer has a hardware issue and needs to be repaired by Canon.
Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.
