Pioneer Televison & Video - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

I have a Pioneer PDP-LX5090, Kuro Flatscreen TV, connected via HDMI4 on a Pioneer AV-receiver VSX-LX60.
By connection a Chrome cast on one of the HDMI ports of the AV-receiver I got the same CEC100 error with the same message "device cannot be operated. please check the connection". By disconnection the Chromecast from the USB current feed, the problem dissapeared. Hope this can help you.

SEE THE INSTRUCTION. GOD BLESS YOU
  • 1
    Turn on your DVD player.

  • 2
Open the DVD player's main drive, also commonly called the DVD "tray." The region cannot be changed while a DVD is in the machine, so many DVD players require the tray to be open as an extra precaution.

  • 3
Push "Info" or "Setup" on your remote.

  • 4
Use the remote to select the "Region" option as indicated on your TV screen.

  • 5
Select "Region 9" to change the system to multiregion formatting. Regions 1 through 8 represent specific geographic locations and will not allow multiregion playback.

A new screen will fix that. The drivers for the screen form part of the screen and are not replaceable.

This is a common issue and it indicates the laser pickup is near end of life, replacement only option, not cost effective to repair.

so long as its not a burned disc, in which the copyrights may have not transfered, it should work. However, try another blu-raydisc in player, if that works, its is the format of the disc. ask someone you know if they have the casino royale blu-ray and try their copy. try to isolate the issue as to the disc or player, if its the player, then contact the mfg. tech support.

Hello cars2u,
Your computer may not have a blu-ray disk drive. You need to install one in order to watch blu-ray movies on your computer. Hope this helps, good luck.

As long as you have a HDMI port you should be able to use it. If you have only one, you won't be able to have any other player plugged in. The firestick doesn't care if the port it is plugged into is labeled 1 or 2 or 3
