Sounds like a spill on the keyboard to be honest, but assuming that its a result of your son hitting the keyboard there may be a key stuck down somewhere.
get a knife and ensure all keys are restored back to the up position.by lightly lifting them one by one.

Stacking problem

That's exactly what's supposed to happen. When you hit "1" it starts to input the number 1 into X. When you press "ENTER" it finishes the number entry and lifts the stack, copying the 1 in X into Y.
If you press a digit key now it will overwrite the number in X.
If you press "+" now, it will add X and Y, giving 2.
If you press a function it will execute that function on the number in X. For example, pressing LN will give you 0. In this case, you don't need to hit "ENTER" at all. To calculate the natural log of 2, for example, you can simply press 2 LN.

My @ symbol is stuck on the " sign. I do not have an ALT GRA key. I have an ALT CAR key and and ALT key but neither seems to help. I've tried hitting the Fn key and 2 at the same time but still no...

Sounds like your keyboard in in UK mode, but is labeled for US. Or the other way.
In a UK keyboard, Shift+' (the key which is two spaces to the right of "L") should give you an @ sign.
Depending on your Operating System, you can use the CONTROL PANEL and REGIONAL SETTINGS to set the keyboard to be a USA keyboard, and then Shift+2 will give you an @ sign.

press the "prog" key followed by the "Trunk" key then the number "1" key.
Press the "down arrow" key until you see the initials Ed on the screen
Press the "E" key.
Enter the frequencies (including the decimals)
you must press the E key and the Prog key after each frequency, after you finish entering your frequencies, press the scan key.
