Hello, if this is a window ac and is not cooling I would make sure the unit is receiving proper airflow across the evaporator coil, chek filter and clean if dirty, clean evaporator coil with coil cleaner which you can purchase at any heating and cooling store. If the unit still does not cool than ypu most likely have a leak in the system and is undercharged. In this case the repair would be between 80- 120 dollars. In some cases if the unit is less than the repair you are better off buying a new unit. However, if your unit is more than the repair then you are better off getting it repiared.
