On the Start Menu, open Computer, open the C drive , open Program Files, search for the program, and delete. Have you tried REVO UNINSTALLER freeware in Advanced mode? Revo freeware can be found here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher. You should call the manufacturer for your full range of options.

Symptoms of a Defective or dying Power supplies on LCD TVs.
1. Light(s) on the front panel are behaving not normal example, blinking, amber color or not steady, fainting, etc.
2. TV not turning ON properly.
3. TV turns OFF by itself.
4. Needs to be unplug to many times to make it work.
5. Humming or high pitch noise heard through speakers or at the back of the TV.

I would suggest to start by measuring the voltages from the power supply to the main/back light circuitry. If the voltages are low or jumping up and down, that means a defective power supply.
If the red light is blinking, the power supply has a shorted component.
